Read MoreFew days ago, PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) or PT INTI (Persero) and PT PGAS Telekomunikasi Nusantara (PGNCOM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation and development of IOT and ICT solutions between the Business Director of PT INTI (Persero), Teguh Adi Suryandono and President Director of PGNCOM, Larassetyo Wibowo.
The two companies have received support from shareholders and agreed to work on the development of solutions based on the Internet of Things (IOT) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The signing of the MOU at the Wisma PGN Training Unit, Bandung City received full support from both parties, which was represented by the presence of the President Director of PT INTI (Persero) Edi Witjara, Commissioner of PT PGN, Tbk. Warih Sadono, Independent Commissioner of PT PGN, Tbk. Christian H. Siboro, Director of Infrastructure and Technology of PT PGN, Tbk. Achmad Muchtasyar, as well as the Director of Human Resources and Business Support of PT PGN, Tbk. Beni Sharif Hidayat.
Both parties plan to work together in terms of utilizing PT INTI (Persero) products and services to support PGNCOM's IOT and ICT solutions, including through the Smart Meter Gas system, e-KTP Reader, and other strategic activities so as to provide added value for the community. all involved.
Through intense communication that has been carried out, PGN Group has understood that PT INTI (Persero)'s track record in producing Smart Meter Gas with a domestic component level (TKDN) above 40% will be a comprehensive synergy. Plus PT INTI (Persero) has a Smart Meter Gas production facility with a capacity of 4,000 units per shift per month.
In addition to production facilities, the calibration facility owned by PT INTI (Persero) can calibrate 12 units of Smart Meter Gas simultaneously, thus ensuring that these devices meet international standards.
Until now, there have been 30,509 units of PT INTI (Persero) Gas Smart Meters that have been installed to support the household gas network in the following areas:

The construction of household jargas is one of the national priority programs with the aim of diversifying energy, reducing subsidies, providing clean and cheap energy as well as a complementary program for converting kerosene to Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to accelerate the reduction in the use of petroleum.
In addition to the Gas Smart Meter, PT INTI (Persero) will also be ready to supply the needs of the e-KTP Reader standardized by the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 76 of 2020 concerning Reader and Writer Devices and Electronic Identity Card Reader Devices for PGNCOM.
Having also obtained certification according to standards from the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) and the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), this e-KTP Reader device has also passed the verification of the value of the domestic content level (TKDN) from the Indonesian Surveyor with a value of 32, 04%.
The e-KTP Reader device has proven to be effective in reducing the duration of the identity verification and validation process which usually takes a long time to fill in data and fulfill the completeness of various copies of documents. This device has also proven feasible to be implemented in various sectors because it has pocketed a number of certifications that are not yet owned by similar products, namely:
1) Domestic Component Level Certification (TKDN) Number: 2842/SJ-IND.8/TKDN/6/2021.
2) National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) Certification Number: 007/P1/UJI.01/09/2021.
3) Certification of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Number: 01/PTE/HU/02/2021.
With this certificate, e-KTP Reader can be declared safe for the implementation of various transactions that require verification of Electronic ID cards, especially related to data confidentiality.
